01. HAND SKETCHES
We still draw by hand.
Good old fashioned hand sketches and renderings are the fastest way to move an idea from our heads into yours. This tool is most helpful at the very beginning of the design process — it lets the client and the designer communicate wants, needs, likes and dislikes clearly.
Why does it matter? The more in sync we are at the start, the fewer changes get made through the later phases. Streamlining the process maximizes your time and keeps you comfortable with the direction your project is going.
STUDY MODELS
SketchUp massing
Quick, basic 3D massing for scale. Depending on the complexity of the design — and what you want to look at — we study elevations and basic window and door placement. These are built fast and meant to be studies; there are usually several of the same design.
DETAILED MODELS
Walk it and fly it
More detailed models let us study the exterior and the interior, including how sunlight enters the home. Built so you can walk through the inside and fly around the outside before anything is built.

CUSTOM DESIGN
Custom residential & commercial
Hourly + fixed sum
A blend of hourly and fixed-sum fees depending on scope. We start with a one-hour consultation — preferably in person on the job site, or over video — to talk through your project ideas.
"RE-DRAW"
Residential re-draw services
$1.25 – $2.00 / SF
Range depends on the size and complexity of the home, plus any customization or design time required, billed at our hourly rate.
"RE-SALE"
Residential re-sale plans
$0.50 / SF
